500 schoolchildren participated in the grand finale of the “Festival of Genesis Literature” that took place last Friday at Devens.
Five hundred children from all classes in the Alpes-Maritimes from CP to CM2 met on Friday at Devens to participate in the grand finale of the “Literature Festival Genesis”, initiated and organized by the departmental services of the National Education, Academy from Nice.
Welcomed by the City of Beausoleil, a partner of this operation for three years, and the children of the schools of Beausoleil, the graduates of the department accompanied by their teachers, spent a great day at the Devens around the many activities on offer.
On the program: workshops and games, a show by the Bâl company and meetings with authors and illustrators present for the Beausoleil Youth Book Festival.
THE IMPORTANCE OF THE DUTY OF MEMORY
A day full of discoveries this year, on the theme of memory, with the importance of history, the duty of memory, for children rewarded for their work and literary productions made during the year.
The winners of the department and classes of Beausoleil were able to enjoy the workshops, play, sing in a choir and take on all sorts of artistic, literary and sporting challenges.
A day prepared and orchestrated by the educational advisers of the National Education in collaboration with the services of the city, sports educators and animators of the service Childhood and school life of Beausoleil.
A strong mobilization of all to offer a beautiful moment of sharing as interesting for the children as entertaining.
