On Tuesday, June 18, a conference was held at the Auditorium of the Technical and Hospitality High School. The focus was on the partnership between luxury professionals, specifically specialists in the watchmaking, jewellery, and jewellery trades, and Public Security.
This meeting, chaired by Mr. Patrice Cellario, Government Counselor – Minister of the Interior, and in the presence of Mr. Richard Marangoni, Director of Public Security and members of his staff, was finalized by the creation Monaco Luxury Safety Committee.
This assembly of professionals proceeded to the election of its president in the person of Mr. Claude Cardone.
The implementation of this Committee is part of the “Public Safety 2020” plan in which the project “Monaco, a safe city” focuses on a global reflection with a view to improving the security criteria with the socio-economic partners. As such, Public Security issued safety recommendations in two charters (VIGILUX and VIGIEXPO) that were presented to the meeting. A certificate, a real seal of quality for safety, will be issued to professionals who will implement these recommendations.
