This Friday night, the film “Where is Rocky II” by Pierre Bismuth will be broadcast in the gardens of Villa Paloma, Monaco. A tasting of local wines and fast food will also be offered.
Once it is not customary, it is not only in the rooms but in the garden of Villa Paloma that the teams of the New National Museum of Monaco will welcome the public this Friday.
The occasion of an unprecedented summer rendezvous with film projection and food truck. Or rather a wine truck that will propose local wines and homemade products to enjoy the atmosphere of a summer evening.
THE SPALETTI EXHIBITION OPEN UNTIL 9PM
The exhibition of Ettore Spalletti will be freely available at the beginning of the evening, the public will be able to appreciate. And from 21 hours, the projection of the film “Where is Rocky II” by Pierre Bismuth.
The director, who co-wrote the script for the film Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind for which he had an Oscar, looked into an artistic mystery. Searching for Rocky II, an artificial rock-shaped work that American artist Ed Ruscha reportedly dumped in the Mojave desert in California in the late 1970s.
Today, nearly 40 years later, the director is recruiting a private detective and a trio of writers to solve an enigma where the art world and the film industry meet.
The entrance for this evening at Villa Paloma and the projection of the film are free, subject to availability.
