Keita Baldé and Benoît Badiashile visit children in the Princess Grace Hospital

AS Monaco players Keita Baldé and Benoît Badiashile came to the paediatric department of the Princess Grace Hospital (CHPG) and presented  the children with specially adapted AS Monaco jerseys. The football players were joined by Benoîte Sevelinges, Director of the CHPG and André Rousset, Deputy Head of the Paediatrics Department.

As part of the AS Monacoeur programme, Senegalese professional footballer Keita Baldé and AS Monaco’s central defender Benoît Badiashile visited the Princess Grace Hospital in Monaco on Thursday 20 February to visit the children in the paediatric ward.

It was an opportunity for the two ASM players to hand over jerseys transformed into blouses and the soft toy Bouba, the club’s mascot that was transformed to hide infusion equipment.

This unique initiative was made possible thanks to the collaboration between the CHPG, the association AS Monacoeur, founded in 2017, and the club’s equipment supplier in the Principality, Kappa.

The main objective of the programme is to help children escape from their daily lives and dream with open eyes.
