Prince Albert I commemoration committee logo unveiled

The Sovereign Prince has unveiled, at the Monaco Yacht Club, the logo of the Commemoration Committee of Prince Albert I.

This logo, which could be used for events initiated by the Committee or partners of the Committee, is intended to be sober and open to all facets of the pioneering work of Prince Albert I. It brings together in one direction humanism, peace, patronage, political, economic and social action in the Principality, palaeontology, geography and of course oceanography and the concern for the environment.

Created by Sovereign Ordinance 7.253 of December 14 2018, the commemoration committee of Prince Albert I is responsible for the study and organization of the events scheduled to celebrate the life and work of Prince Albert I, between 2019, centenary year of the creation of the International Commission for the Scientific Exploration of the Mediterranean Sea, and 2022, the centenary year of its disappearance.

It should be noted that an Executive Committee, coordinated by its President Mr. Robert Fillon and his Secretary Stéphane Lamotte, was set up at the same time as the Commemoration Committee on January 29, 2019.
