Wynn\u2019s ability to create ultimate luxury hotels, restaurants and casinos, certainly didn\u2019t go unnoticed in Monaco.<\/p>\n\n<p>Early in his career, he oversaw the construction of several landmark Las Vegas hotels, including the Bellagio and the Mirage. He is an important donor of the Republican party. His father died shortly before Steve graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1963. He took over the management of the family&#8217;s bingo parlours in Maryland. <\/p>\n\n<p>He moved to Las Vegas with his wife in 1967. Steve Wynn acquired an old downtown casino, the Golden Nugget, renovated and expanded it in order to attract a wealthier clientele.
