Although created in 2006 by Jean-Ren\u00e9 Palacio, the Artistic Director of Monte-Carlo Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 des Bains de Mer, it is Prince Albert II of Monaco who presides over the festival. \n \nThe event usually takes place at the Op\u00e9ra Garnier Monte-Carlo, anytime between the last week of November and the first of December. Acting as a temple of music and creation for more than a century, this exceptional place is perfect for discovering the greatest jazz talents, both old and new. \n \nThe event reflects jazz music in all its forms.
