Established in 1997, the Historic Grand Prix of Monaco takes place every two years before each Formula 1 Grand Prix. Focused on the historical aspect of motor racing, it showcases old Grand Prix vehicles, as well as other more general sports vehicles. \n <\/p>\n\n
The sporting event takes place on the same circuit as the Formula 1 Grand Prix. The best part? The vintage cars are charming, taking spectators on a trip back in time through the history of motor racing. With seven different series, the vehicles in “competition” cover a period from pre-war to the 1980s. The 12th<\/sup>edition, which was scheduled to take place in May 2020, was postponed to April 2021.<\/p>\n\n Organised every two years by the Automobile Club de Monaco, the Historic Grand Prix of Monaco is a great hit with the public, who come in ever-increasing numbers each year.
