Visible at the Th\u00e9\u00e2tre des Vari\u00e9t\u00e9s, this film is one of the most famous in the illustrious career of Agn\u00e8s Varda who passed away last Friday at the age of 90.<\/h3>\n<p>The only female figure to emerge from the New Wave, Agn\u00e8s Varda entered the ranks of cinematic legend in the 1960s. She then traversed the decades while etching a very personal line through the arts. Life partner of Jacques Demy, she created fictional stories as well as documentaries. Her long career produced some great successes in the genre, such as the powerful <em>Black Panthers<\/em>, the moving <i>The Gleaners and I <\/i>(on gleaning food practices), or <em>Faces, Places<\/em> alongside the artist JR.<\/p>\n<h2>Cl\u00e9o from 8 to 10 (PM)<\/h2>\n<p>One of Agn\u00e8s Varda&#8217;s most famous creative works will be viewable this evening, April 2nd in Monaco, at 8 PM at the Th\u00e9\u00e2tre des Vari\u00e9t\u00e9s. <em>Cl\u00e9o from 5 to 7<\/em>, released in 1962, is renowned as an international success. The film represents the slight gravity (or light gravity) that animated the filmmakers of this wave. Narrating a woman&#8217;s expectation of a medical result in the streets and emblematic sites of Paris, the film remained famous for its musical accompaniments composed by Michel Legrand and his acting direction.
