{"id":102614,"date":"2021-12-09T15:45:27","date_gmt":"2021-12-09T14:45:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.monaco-tribune.com\/2021\/12\/on-the-monaco-dance-forum-programme-dance-in-all-its-forms\/"},"modified":"2022-01-22T17:36:25","modified_gmt":"2022-01-22T16:36:25","slug":"on-the-monaco-dance-forum-programme-dance-in-all-its-forms","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.monaco-tribune.com\/en\/2021\/12\/on-the-monaco-dance-forum-programme-dance-in-all-its-forms\/","title":{"rendered":"On the Monaco Dance Forum programme: dance in all its forms"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The Monaco Dance Forum returns to the Principality for eight magical shows from December 11 to January 5<\/strong><strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The festival will open on December 11 and 12&nbsp; with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.balletsdemontecarlo.com\/en\/season-2021-2022\/mc\/mdf\/heure-exquise-bejart\"><em>L&#8217;heure exquise<\/em><\/a>, by Maurice B\u00e9jart, a ballet adapted from the Samuel Beckett play <em>&#8220;<\/em>Happy Days&#8221;. &nbsp;Shakespeare&#8217;s famous tragedy, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.balletsdemontecarlo.com\/en\/season-2021-2022\/mc\/mdf\/hamlet-matteini-broeckx\">Hamlet<\/a>, will also be featured on December 14 and 15.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Spectators will also be able to discover <a href=\"https:\/\/www.balletsdemontecarlo.com\/en\/season-2021-2022\/mc\/mdf\/la-danse-du-soleil-camerat\"><em>La Danse du Soleil<\/em><\/a> on December 18 and 19, with thirty musicians dancing on stage while playing works by Lully and Mozart by heart. &nbsp;The Herv\u00e9 Koubi company will present, on December 16 and 17, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.balletsdemontecarlo.com\/en\/season-2021-2022\/mc\/mdf\/What-the-day-owes-the-night-koubi\"><em>What the day owes to the night<\/em><\/a>: a meeting between East and West that freely mixes different styles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Herv\u00e9 Koubi company will also be runnning a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.balletsdemontecarlo.com\/en\/season-2021-2022\/mc\/mdf\/workshop-compagnie-herve-koubi\"><em>Workshop<\/em><\/a>, open to beginners, on December 16. Another, aimed at the intermediate level, will be organised by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.balletsdemontecarlo.com\/en\/season-2021-2022\/mc\/mdf\/workshop-imperfect-dancers-company\"><em>Imperfect Dancers Company <\/em><\/a>on December 14.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.balletsdemontecarlo.com\/en\/season-2021-2022\/mc\/film-mdf\"><em>Les enfants d&#8217;Isadora<\/em><\/a>, the film by Damien Manivel, will also be screened on December 19 at the Grimaldi Forum, an ode to dance and motherly love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The festival will conclude with the famous ballet <a href=\"https:\/\/www.balletsdemontecarlo.com\/en\/season-2021-2022\/mc\/casse-noisette-compagnie\"><em>The Nutcracker<\/em><\/a>, directed by Jean-Christophe Maillot.
