Mimosa flowers from January to March, much to the delight of fans of these fragrant yellow flowers. \u00a0The Route du Mimosa was created to link places where the mimosa is in full bloom. \u00a0Its 130 km length is divided into\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/routedumimosa.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">eight sections<\/a>&#8230;<\/p>\n\n<iframe title=\"Discover the Mimosa Route\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/8WcMpaTnE2E?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-l-itineraire-de-la-route-du-mimosa\">The Route du Mimosa itinerary<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It&#8217;s called <strong>Bormes-les-Mimosas<\/strong>\u00a0for a reason! \u00a0And this is where the famous Route du Mimosa starts, with 90 species of yellow-flowered trees. \u00a0A little further on, at Les Maures, the second stage of the route takes you to the <strong>Domaine du Rayol.<\/strong>\u00a0 Mimosas feature strongly in these fabulous 20-hectare botanic gardens.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On to <strong>Sainte-Maxime<\/strong>\u00a0where the Miss Mimosa election takes place every year, then to\u00a0<strong>Saint-Rapha\u00ebl<\/strong> and its February mimosa carnival. <strong>Mandelieu-la-Napoule<\/strong>, the fifth leg on the Route, also has annual festivities in honour of the \u201cyellow gold\u201d. \u00a0Here you can see the biggest natural mimosa forest in Europe.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The small town of <strong>Tanneron<\/strong>\u00a0is all about mimosa in winter, with tastings of mimosa-related products, sightseeing tours&#8230; This is also true of <strong>P\u00e9gomas<\/strong> with its &#8216;Jardin des Mimosas&#8217;.
