On April 30, the Extended Monaco program, Smart Principality was presented to the Yacht Club in the presence of Prince Albert II. The Prince’s Government has delivered its vision of the digital transformation of the Principality, developed over the past 12 months. The priorities of this strategic program, Extended Monaco, are to serve the quality of life, offer a new cycle of economic prosperity and increase the value of public service.<\/h6>\n

“Monaco is a digital world, it is a country that makes its size a strength, an asset to make even more efficient, more sustainable, more human our economic and social model”,<\/em> said the Head of State of Monaco.<\/p>\n

The Interministerial Delegate for Digital Transition, Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Genta, outlined the fundamentals of this digital strategy. “Extended Monaco is the foundation of our future growth. The growth that needs foundations: the 5G, the Sovereign Cloud, the optical fibre… “,<\/em> Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Genta listed.<\/p>\n

The ambition of Extended Monaco is to attract businesses and activities through the development of new technologies, such as blockchain, using innovative financing methods. To become the world leader in environmental ICO (Initial Coin Offering), the State is funding a first ICO dedicated to the production of the new documentary film by Luc Jacquet, Oscar winner of the March of the Emperor.<\/p>\n

With Extended Monaco, the aim is also to apply digital simultaneously to all public policies (health, education, smart city, etc.). “We will train children digitally. Our education is a strategic asset for our future because, in a digital world, value is based on intelligence and knowledge”,<\/em> said Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Genta.<\/p>\n

Finally, to improve the user experience in their interactions with the Administration, the objective is to dematerialize 100% of administrative procedures by 2022.<\/p>\n
