Here are the main highlights from the weekend.<\/strong><\/p><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-stoffel-vandoorne-domine-les-debats\">Stoffel Vandoorne rules the roost\u2026 <\/h2>\n\n<p>A double whammy for the Belgian Mercedes driver. Stoffel Vandoorne, winner of the Monaco E-Prix on Saturday afternoon, also took the lead in the drivers&#8217; world championship, with 81 points, ahead of Jean-\u00c9ric Vergne with 75 points. <\/p>\n\n<p><p>Vandoorne was able to turn the appearance of several safety cars to his advantage, finding himself in the lead and finishing ahead of Mitch Evans&#8217; Jaguar and Jean-\u00c9ric Vergne&#8217;s DS. &#8220;It&#8217;s an incredible feeling,&#8221; said the winner after the race. &#8220;Monaco is always a special race to win as a driver.&#8221;<\/p><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u2026watched by Charles Leclerc <\/h2>\n\n<p>Having the weekend off from Formula 1 Grand Prix, Charles Leclerc grabbed the opportunity to come and watch the Monaco E-Prix on home turf. <\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wpview wpview-wrap\" data-wpview-text=\"https%3A%2F%2Ftwitter.com%2FFIAFormulaE%2Fstatus%2F1520405668880130049%3Fref_src%3Dtwsrc%255Etfw%257Ctwcamp%255Etweetembed%257Ctwterm%255E1520405668880130049%257Ctwgr%255E%257Ctwcon%255Es1_%26amp%3Bref_url%3Dhttps%253A%252F%252Fwww.lequipe.fr%252FFormule-e%252FActualites%252FStoffel-vandoorne-mercedes-remporte-le-e-prix-de-monaco-jean-eric-vergne-ds-techeetah-troisieme%252F1330612\" data-wpview-type=\"embedURL\" contenteditable=\"false\"><iframe frameborder=\"0\" allowtransparency=\"true\" scrolling=\"no\" class=\"wpview-sandbox\" style=\"width: 100%; display: block; height: 459px;\"><\/iframe><span class=\"mce-shim\"><\/span><span class=\"wpview-end\"><\/span><\/div>\n\n<p>From one of the many balconies overlooking the Monaco circuit, the Scuderia Ferrari driver did not miss a second of the show on the track. In a week&#8217;s time, he&#8217;ll be the one on the track, at the Miami Grand Prix.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Jean-\u00c9ric Vergne continues his run <\/h2>\n\n<p>Coming third in Monaco, this was the Frenchman&#8217;s second podium of the season. Another good performance that makes him the only driver to score points in every race since the start of the season. <\/p>\n\n<p><p>&#8220;I am happy to take the points for third place,&#8221; he stated after the race.<span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0&#8220;We need to keep scoring big points like this on a regular basis and we will keep working hard to ty to pull off our first victory of the season.&#8221;<\/span><\/p><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mixed weekend for Venturi <\/h2>\n\n<p>The Monegasque stable had a complicated race in the Principality.
