What&#8217;s on in Monaco from 1 to 8 October"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><b>The best tips from the editorial team for keeping busy in the Principality<\/b> <b>and the surrounding area<\/b><b>!<\/b><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-terra-di-mare-la-mediterranee-sous-un-nouvel-angle\">&#8220;Terra di mare&#8221;: the Mediterranean in a new light<\/h2>\n\n<p>If you haven&#8217;t seen it yet, why not start the month <a href=\"https:\/\/www.monaco-tribune.com\/en\/2022\/09\/a-new-view-of-the-mediterranean-at-monaco-station\/\">with the &#8220;Terra di mare&#8221; exhibition<\/a>, which opened on 22 September at Monaco Monte Carlo train station?<\/p>\n\n<p>A total of 11 images by the self-taught Sicilian photographer Gilles Cappadoro can be seen. The artist has chosen to pay tribute to the Mediterranean by eschewing colour, in particular blue, and using only green-grey tones. A surprising exhibition, which can be visited free of charge until 18 November, in the space giving on to the parvis Sainte-D\u00e9vote.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-l-expo-sensuelle-de-roni-horn\">Roni Horn&#8217;s sensual exhibition<\/h2>\n\n<p>Another exhibition that has just opened is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.monaco-tribune.com\/en\/2022\/09\/desire-and-sexuality-roni-horn-art-exhibition-at-hauser-wirth\/\">&#8216;Sweet is the Swamp with its Secrets&#8217; <\/a>in the Hauser &amp; Wirth gallery. Come and see pictures by the American photographer Roni Horn, who explores desire and sexuality through a series of portraits, self-portraits and sometimes phallic photos. The artist&#8217;s works are interspersed with six extracts from the film <i>Persona<\/i>, directed by Ingmar Bergman in 1966, projected onto the walls, to highlight Roni Horn&#8217;s work from a cinematographic angle. This themed market was originally scheduled for 24 September, but was postponed due to the weather.<\/p>\n\n<p>The market will be open from 8 am to 2 pm. Takeaway food will be available from 11am and on-site catering from midday. Access is free of charge. Two other themed markets are planned: the &#8220;Gatherers&#8217; Market&#8221; on 8 October, with mushrooms and chestnuts, and the &#8220;Regional Wine and Cheese Market&#8221; on 22 October.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-les-plus-beaux-jardins-de-monaco-en-peintures-et-poemes\">Monaco&#8217;s most beautiful gardens in paintings and poems<\/h2>\n\n<p>From 7 October until 5 November, come and dream at the &#8220;Floril\u00e8ge des Jardins de Monaco&#8221;, exhibition, presented by the F\u00e9d\u00e9ration des Groupements Fran\u00e7ais de Monaco, under the High Patronage of Prince Albert II.
