The 30th edition of the World Stars Football Match, organised by Mauro Serra and the Star Team For The Children non-profit organisation, took place on Tuesday evening at the Louis-II Stadium.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n\n

The Formula 1 drivers shone this year. After a draw against Star Team For The Children in the previous edition (3-3)<\/a>, the team led by Charles Leclerc won the match this time (4-3), as Prince Albert II looked on.<\/p>\n\n

“We managed to put together some good combinations with Charles and Carlos,” smiled Pierre Gasly at half-time.\u00a0“I had a few one-on-ones but there was a pretty good keeper tonight who stopped three, or four. We hope our superior cardio as sportsmen will make the difference in the second half.”<\/p>\n\n

The French Alpine team driver was right, as the attacking trio made up of the Monegasque driver Leclerc, his team-mate Carlos Sainz and himself, inspired the F1 drivers to fight hard and turn the match around in the second half. <\/p>\n
