Artcurial Monaco<\/a> is holding this week its annual winter auction<\/a> at the mythical Hermitage Hotel in Monte-Carlo, offering rare watches, beautiful jewellery and Herm\u00e8s Vintage pieces to the highest bidder. The prestigious sales have become essential for enthusiasts and collectors from around the world. We\u2019re taking a closer look at the exceptional pieces that can satisfy all tastes and meet all budgets.<\/span><\/h2>\n

Ladies’ watches <\/span><\/h2>\n

One of the auction sessions this season \u2013 \u201cTime is feminine\u201d \u2013 is dedicated to women\u2019s watches. Around 90 exceptional watches with a selection of 8 rare pieces coming from a private collection are put on sale. Watches signed by Cartier, Bulgari, Rolex, Piaget, Gerald Genta, and Omega among others, reflect the history and the savoir-faire of watch manufacturers between the 1950\u2019s and 1980\u2019s. One of the most remarkable items on sale are two secret lady’s wristwatches in platinum and diamond by Patek Philippe with an estimated value between 150,000 and 200,000 euros.<\/span><\/p>\n

Fine jewellery <\/span><\/h2>\n

The auction is presenting a variety of fine jewellery, from necklaces to brooches. Some of the most remarkable pieces are a 18k yellow gold and silver necklace by Bulgari, estimated at 2,500 and 3 500 euros. A diamond, emerald, ruby, silver and 18k pink gold brooch from the beginning of the 20th century is estimated at 2,200 and 2,500 euros. The sale also includes several pieces estimated at less than 1,000 euros. For example, a pair of lapis lazuli, mother-of-pearl, ruby and 18k yellow gold cufflinks are estimated to be auctioned off at less than 300 euros.<\/span><\/p>\n

Herm\u00e8s bags <\/span><\/h2>\n

There is also an incredible selection of unmissable Herm\u00e8s bags. An exceptional Birkin bag, estimated between 22,000 and 32,000 euros, is made of braise porosus crocodile with silver palladium metal hardware. A more creative example is a bag named \u201cQuelle Idole\u201d designed by Jean-Louis Dumas. The designer played with words and made a pun for \u201cKelly Doll\u201d. The limited edition \u201cQuelle Idole\u201d created in 2000 is made from orange and brown Gulliver calfskin leather.<\/span><\/p>\n
