{"id":219167,"date":"2024-02-27T13:44:50","date_gmt":"2024-02-27T11:44:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.monaco-tribune.com\/2024\/02\/ramoge-photography-competition-opens\/"},"modified":"2024-02-27T18:12:50","modified_gmt":"2024-02-27T16:12:50","slug":"ramoge-photography-competition-opens","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.monaco-tribune.com\/en\/2024\/02\/ramoge-photography-competition-opens\/","title":{"rendered":"RAMOGE photography competition opens"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><b>The RAMOGE Agreement launched the 3rd edition of its international photography competition on February 15<\/b>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;RAMOGE &#8211; L&#8217;Homme et la Mer&#8221; (Man and the Sea) is the theme of the competition, which is supported by the F\u00e9d\u00e9ration Internationale de l\u2019Art Photographique (FIAP &#8211; International Federation of Photographic Art).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year\u2019s competition is split into four categories:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>&#8216;L&#8217;Homme et la Mer&#8217;, for shots taken in the Mediterranean,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&#8216;Zone RAMOGE&#8217;, for photos taken between Marseille and La Spezia,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&#8216;L\u2019Homme et la Mer, le regard des nouvelles g\u00e9n\u00e9rations&#8217;, reserved for photographers under the age of 25.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>and &#8216;Th\u00e8me Libre&#8217;, an open theme category.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This edition&#8217;s jury includes internationally renowned photographers, such as<b> Riccardo Busi<\/b> (FIAP President), <b>Greg Lecoeur<\/b> (\u201cNature Photographer of the Year\u201d \u2013 National Geographic, 2016), and <b>Sergio Pitamitz<\/b> (\u201cEnvironmental Photojournalist of the Year\u201d \u2013 NPPA, 2016).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"related\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.monaco-tribune.com\/en\/2022\/03\/video-striking-images-of-plastic-pollution-in-the-mediterranean\/\">VIDEO: Striking images of plastic pollution in the Mediterranean<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The RAMOGE Agreement is an environmental protection treaty signed on May 19, 1976 between France, Monaco and Italy. Made up of a Commission, a Technical Committee, Working Groups and a Permanent Secretariat, it focuses on three major issues: integrated coastal zone management, pollution prevention and control, and awareness raising.
