Becoming the majority shareholder alongside CLdN Cobelfret, Degroof Petercam\u2019s historical shareholder, the acquisition creates a European leader in wealth management.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Having obtained the required approvals from the relevant authorities,&nbsp;the transaction strengthens Cr\u00e9dit Agricole&#8217;s presence in Belgium. Significant synergies are expected given the two companies\u2019 business lines.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A European leader in wealth management is born<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The group claims that the acquisition ranks amongst the most significant European industry transactions in the past 10 years. According to it\u2019s press release, Indosuez Wealth Management, which has been in operation for over 150 years, will now have a presence in 16 mainly European territories, as well as in Asia Pacific and the Middle East. The new group\u2019s 4,500 staff will manage around \u20ac200 billion in client assets, and nearly \u20ac1.6 billion euros net banking income.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"related\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.monaco-tribune.com\/en\/2024\/07\/indosuez-wealth-management-launches-startup-connections-in-monaco\/\">Indosuez Wealth Management launches \u201cStartUp Connections\u201d in Monaco\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u201cAn enhanced value proposition and a continuum of services for high-net-worth clients and families, entrepreneurs, professional investors\u201d&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The \u201ccomplementary expertise\u201d of the two merging entities means Indosuez Wealth can offer clients an \u201cenhanced value proposition\u201d, with:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Degroof Petercam\u2019s advisory services to entrepreneurs, investment advice and fund offerings in particular Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) ethical investment opportunities, and its fund servicing capabilities&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Indosuez Wealth Management\u2019s extensive range of services, including structured products, private equity and real estate, as well as its financing capacity and international network.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis value proposition and service continuum includes Advisory, Financing, Investment Solutions, Fund servicing, Technology and Banking Solutions as well as access to Cr\u00e9dit Agricole Group&#8217;s international network, expertise and financing capabilities.
