{"id":260490,"date":"2024-11-14T17:50:44","date_gmt":"2024-11-14T15:50:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.monaco-tribune.com\/2024\/11\/decoration-advice-for-monacos-national-day\/"},"modified":"2024-11-14T17:51:45","modified_gmt":"2024-11-14T15:51:45","slug":"decoration-advice-for-monacos-national-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.monaco-tribune.com\/en\/2024\/11\/decoration-advice-for-monacos-national-day\/","title":{"rendered":"Decoration advice for Monaco&#8217;s National Day"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Monaco Town Council has some tips for you in the run-up to the festivities.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>The local authority is inviting Monegasques and residents to decorate their facades, windows and balconies to <em>&#8220;demonstrate their attachment to the Princely Family and the Principality.&#8221; <\/em>\u00a0The Town Council has two pieces of advice:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>When it comes to flags, the red part must always be above the white.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For pennants and banners, looking from the outside, the red part must be to the left of the white.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-plus-de-500-drapeaux-installes-en-principaute\">Over 500 flags flying in the Principality<\/h2>\n\n<p>The Monaco Town Council staff still have a few days to install flags and banners between now and 19 November,   the start of the festivities . Two teams, a day and night shift, are working in turns across the Principality. The day shift is responsible for installing some of the decorations by hand or using a ladder. The night shift is responsible for anything that involves using a cherry picker. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"related\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.monaco-tribune.com\/en\/2024\/10\/concerts-drone-show-giant-stockfish-lunch-for-monacos-national-day\/\">Concerts, drone show, giant stockfish lunch&#8230; for Monaco&#8217;s National Day<\/a><\/p>\n\n<p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In all, the Municipal Technical Departments will be installing approximately 600 banners, 550 flags and 90 pennants across the city. Installing all these decorations requires over 150 different operations.
