{"id":261042,"date":"2024-11-18T17:26:02","date_gmt":"2024-11-18T15:26:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.monaco-tribune.com\/2024\/11\/sncf-rail-traffic-at-standstill-between-nice-and-monaco-on-last-weekend-of-november\/"},"modified":"2024-11-18T17:27:02","modified_gmt":"2024-11-18T15:27:02","slug":"sncf-rail-traffic-at-standstill-between-nice-and-monaco-on-last-weekend-of-november","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.monaco-tribune.com\/en\/2024\/11\/sncf-rail-traffic-at-standstill-between-nice-and-monaco-on-last-weekend-of-november\/","title":{"rendered":"SNCF: Rail traffic at standstill between Nice and Monaco on last weekend of November"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Work on the railway lines in the Alpes-Maritimes continues as the year draws to a close.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.monaco-tribune.com\/en\/2024\/09\/sncf-works-pushed-back-by-an-hour-some-comfort-for-nice-ventimiglia-passengers\/\">As well as the overnight maintenance work that will carry on until June 2025<\/a>, SNCF R\u00e9seau is undertaking modernisation works at Nice Ville station, with the aim of <em>&#8220;improving tomorrow&#8217;s mobility.&#8221;<\/em> However, the upgrades required to modernise the rail infrastructure, will involve temporary rail traffic disruption.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a result, rail traffic between Nice and Monaco will be suspended for part of the weekend of 30 November and 1 December 2024. No trains will run throughout Saturday 30 November, and up until Sunday 1 December at 9.30 am.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Traffic between Monaco and Ventimiglia is &#8216;adjusted&#8217; with a train every hour.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The SNCF is suggesting passengers switch to the ZOU 600 and 601 bus routes while the  line is closed.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"related wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.monaco-tribune.com\/en\/2024\/04\/the-100-nice-monaco-menton-bus-in-2023-routes-timetables-fares-changes\/\">The #100 Nice-Monaco-Menton bus in 2023: routes, timetables, fares, changes<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Work on the railway lines in the Alpes-Maritimes continues as the year draws to a close.
