The gradual recovery in air traffic is expected to further increase in July and August, depending on the lifting of travel restrictions.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Air traffic to and from Nice C\u00f4te d&#8217;Azur is <a href=\"https:\/\/en.nice.aeroport.fr\/Passengers\/Latest-news\/Reprise-progressive-du-trafic-aerien\">set to gather pace<\/a> over the coming weeks, with tourists and French Riviera residents alike keen to be able to travel again.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Safety first at Nice C\u00f4te d&#8217;Azur<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The airport has laid out many efforts to guarantee the best implementation of health measures, in terms of increased surface cleaning, airflow management and terminal ventilation.<\/p>\n<p>Although not all airlines have finalised their flight schedules, the airport is gearing toward an established network between the Riviera and the main French and European destinations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A boost for the tourism industry<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are delighted with the renewed confidence of these companies,&#8221; said Dominique Thillaud, Chairman of the C\u00f4te d&#8217;Azur Airports Board. &#8220;It will enable us to revitalize tourist activity in the Southern Region and allow the Riviera&#8217;s residents to travel throughout France and to many European destinations, from June onwards and before a gradual increase in connections in July and August.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>This recovery is expected to gain momentum from July onwards, going as far as to open new routes from Nice, such as Caen and Brest.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Where can I travel to in France from Nice?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Paris Charles-de-Gaulle (Air France, easyJet)<\/li>\n<li>Lyon (Air France)<\/li>\n<li>Lille (easyJet)<\/li>\n<li>Toulouse (easyJet)<\/li>\n<li>Nantes (easyJet, Volotea)<\/li>\n<li>Bordeaux (easyJet)<\/li>\n<li>Bastia, Ajaccio, Figari and Calvi (Air Corsica)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Where can I travel to in Europe from Nice?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>London (British Airways and easyJet)<\/li>\n<li>Frankfurt (Lufthansa)<\/li>\n<li>Brussels (Brussels Airlines)<\/li>\n<li>Geneva and Zurich (easyJet, Swiss)<\/li>\n<li>Vienna, Sofia, Budapest and Krakow (Wizz Air)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Air traffic <a href=\"https:\/\/www.monaco-tribune.com\/en\/2020\/04\/international-flights-to-nice-suspended-until-at-least-september\/\">ground to a halt<\/a> mid-March at Nice C\u00f4te d\u2019Azur airport.
