On June 8th, the RAMOGE Agreement launched a new edition of its international photography competition to celebrate World Oceans Day. This year\u2019s theme? Man and the Sea.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The RAMOGE Agreement has launched the 2020 edition of its international photography competition entitled \u201cRAMOGE – Man and the Sea.\u201d Participants have until September 15th to submit photos to the RAMOGE website<\/a>. The Agreement is an international treaty between France, Monaco, and Italy aimed at preserving the coastline and marine environment between Marseille and La Spezia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Calling all sea lovers and photography enthusiasts!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of its campaign to raise awareness, the RAMOGE Agreement has asked participants to depict the relationship between human life and the Mediterranean, in both positive and negative lights. Free and open to all, the competition is divided into four categories: a free category, Man and the Sea, RAMOGE Zone (dedicated to images taken between Marseille and La Spezia), with the last one dedicated to under 21-year-olds \u2014 \u201cMan and the Sea, the new generations\u2019 view.\u201d Entrants can submit a maximum of four photos per category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is an opportunity to highlight the sea and its coastline, personal loves of Prince Albert II<\/a>. The International Federation of Photographic Art will oversee the competition, the prestigious jury including Greg Lecoeur, Sergio Pitamitz and Pierluigi Rizzato. All three specialise in environmental photography.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
