Inside the Palace, that is, on Saturday June 14. It was a rare opportunity to learn more about the man behind the role. Prince Albert II opened up about fatherhood with touching sincerity. <em>&#8220;This morning I had time to take my children to school. That&#8217;s enough to put me in a good mood for the day,&#8221;<\/em> he told Isabelle Ithurburu. But these moments are few and far between for the Sovereign.<\/p>\n\n<iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/video.php?height=476&#038;href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2F50Inside%2Fvideos%2F1253939752955498%2F&#038;show_text=false&#038;width=267&#038;t=0\" width=\"267\" height=\"476\" style=\"border:none;overflow:hidden\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" allow=\"autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; picture-in-picture; web-share\"><\/iframe><br\/>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-deux-caracteres-bien-distincts\">Two very different personalities<\/h2>\n\n<p>The Twins, Hereditary Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella, who have just <a href=\"hhttps:\/\/www.monaco-tribune.com\/en\/2024\/12\/princely-twins-jacques-and-gabriella-celebrate-10th-birthday-after-a-very-busy-year\/\">turned 10<\/a>, don&#8217;t always take kindly to media attention. <em>&#8220;Sometimes they&#8217;d like me to stay out of the way a bit and let them go with their friends,&#8221;<\/em> he admitted.<\/p>\n\n<p>The Prince mentioned the contrasting personalities of his children: <em>&#8220;Jacques is a little more reserved, more cautious about certain things. Gabriella is more outgoing. She already has a strong character,&#8221;<\/em> he said.<\/p>\n\n<p>He and Princess Charlene do their utmost to protect their children: <em>&#8220;We want to try to keep them out of the media spotlight as much as possible. Unfortunately, that&#8217;s now virtually impossible. I regret that,&#8221;<\/em> he said. His time as a student in the United States is etched in his memory: <em>\u00a0&#8220;I miss my student years in the United States, where I had greater freedom,&#8221;<\/em> he said wistfully.<\/p>\n\n<p>Prince Albert II even shared his end-of-year traditions: <em>&#8220;You can see me in the streets of Monaco on December 21 and 23&#8221;<\/em>\u00a0 buying gifts for his children. To safeguard these precious moments, the Sovereign explains that he relies on meticulous organisation and knowing how to say no when necessary: &#8221; <em>You have to be organised. Sometimes you need to know how to say no, that time is set aside for family or friends,&#8221; <\/em>adding <em>&#8220;my parents taught us to accept these responsibilities while protecting our personal space and what little private life we can have.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-souvenirs-d-enfance-avec-grace-kelly\">Childhood memories with Grace Kelly<\/h2>\n\n<p>The interview also revealed special childhood memories: &#8220;<em> I have extraordinary memories of the great names in cinema. Cary Grant, Alfred Hitchcock&#8230; My mother had kept up those friendships and I had the chance to be close to these people, to talk to them,&#8221;<\/em> he recalled.<\/p>\n<div soldier&#8221;<\/em> before <em>&#8220;becoming more realistic.&#8221;<\/em> He was of course destined to become Prince of Monaco, a destiny that he now embraces as a family man, concerned to protect
