The yellow seats at the Fontvieille stadium will soon be replaced by more modern ones in the colours of the Monegasque club.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>During the public session of the National Council on Tuesday evening, Minister of State Christophe Mirmand announced a decision that ASM fans have been waiting for: the replacement of the yellow seats at the Stade Louis-II. A mosaic configuration was chosen, by Prince Albert II. The stands that include the &#8216;populaire&#8217; and &#8216;pesage&#8217; sections, where many of ASM&#8217;s most ardent supporters are to be found, will feature retractable seats. This means fans will be able to stand &#8216;kop style&#8217; during matches, as is the case in some European stadiums. They can also stay seated for other events, such as athletics with\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.monaco-tribune.com\/en\/2025\/07\/herculis-2025-records-and-thrills-at-an-exceptional-evening-of-sport\/\"><span style=\"color: blue; text-decoration: none; text-underline: none;\">the famous Herculis meeting, which takes place every summer.<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-embedded-content\" data-secret=\"cJirYGZlQy\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.monaco-tribune.com\/en\/2025\/02\/stade-louis-ii-celebrates-40th-anniversary-with-prince-albert-ii-in-attendance\/\">Stade Louis II celebrates 40th anniversary with Prince Albert II in attendance<\/a><\/blockquote><iframe class=\"wp-embedded-content\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts\" security=\"restricted\" style=\"position: absolute; visibility: hidden;\" title=\"&#8220;Stade Louis II celebrates 40th anniversary with Prince Albert II in attendance&#8221; &#8212; Monaco Tribune\" src=\"https:\/\/www.monaco-tribune.com\/en\/2025\/02\/stade-louis-ii-celebrates-40th-anniversary-with-prince-albert-ii-in-attendance\/embed\/#?secret=ecZwbRc7hi#?secret=cJirYGZlQy\" data-secret=\"cJirYGZlQy\" width=\"500\" height=\"282\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe>\n\n<p>The changes are part of the modernisation programme for the stadium, which was inaugurated in 1985. The first phase of work began recently.
