It certainly represents a feat for Ferrari, given the less than desirable performance from the SF1000. &#8220;This result boosted the team because on Saturday, we didn&#8217;t expect to perform so poorly in the qualifiers. Finishing second was good for everyone,&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.formula1.com\/en\/video\/2020\/7\/Charles_Leclerc__Austrian_GP_was_one_of_my_%27best_races%27.html\">explained<\/a> the Monegasque driver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Optimistic to overtake Red Bull<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Enough to attempt another podium finish at the Styrian Grand Prix? Possible for Charles Leclerc, but only if luck is on their side again. In terms of pure performance, the car still needs a lot of improvement. &#8220;Going after the Mercedes before the end of the season, I don&#8217;t think so. But we&#8217;re still optimistic about getting back on Red Bull and getting ahead,&#8221; added the 22-year-old driver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For this second Grand Prix at the Spielberg circuit, organisers have already made some changes. &#8220;We&#8217;re not starting from scratch. That&#8217;s where you have to work hard and take advantage of this unique opportunity. With the new features we&#8217;re bringing, we&#8217;ll be able to measure what works and what doesn&#8217;t,&#8221; explains Charles Leclerc. Now we&#8217;ll see how the SF1000 will behave on the track.
