For this occasion, the Princess herself will take up this sporting challenge.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Two teams of four internationally renowned athletes, including Princess Charlene, will set off from the port of Calvi, Corsica, on 12th September at 3 pm. For 24 hours, the athletes will take turns over 180 km until they reach the Yacht Club de Monaco, the race\u2019s finishing point. But, above all, the challenge seeks to raise public awareness of the various programmes of the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation. For example, &#8220;Learn to swim&#8221; and &#8220;Water Safety&#8221; are two programmes implemented all over the world, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.monaco-tribune.com\/en\/2020\/02\/princess-charlenes-swimming-programmes-benefit-730000-people\/\">aimed at underprivileged children or children at risk of drowning<\/a>.
