The success far exceeded our expectations.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This competition followed on from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.monaco-tribune.com\/2025\/11\/apprendre-le-dessin-aurelie-guarino-livre-5-conseils-pour-debutants-et-passionnes\/\">our practical article<\/a>, in which illustrator Aur\u00e9lie Guarino shared her tips for learning and improving your drawing skills, whatever your level. As a follow-up to this meeting, we wanted to give our readers a voice \u2013 and, above all, a sheet of paper.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-une-diversite-de-styles-et-de-sensibilites\">A diversity of styles and sensibilities<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mediterranean landscapes, animals, portraits, scenes from everyday life or more introspective creations: the works we received reflect a wide variety of styles and worlds. Watercolour, pencil, graphics tablet, ballpoint pen: some participants favoured precision of line, others the spontaneity of gesture.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each drawing reveals a gaze, an emotion or a moment captured on paper. Some even took the time to explain their approach, their inspiration or their relationship to drawing.<\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-embedded-content\" data-secret=\"ysPghmoMsx\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.monaco-tribune.com\/en\/2026\/01\/princely-family-of-monaco-and-chanel-fashion-the-five-articles-that-fascinated-monaco-tribune-readers-in-2025\/\">Princely Family of Monaco and Chanel fashion: the five articles that fascinated Monaco Tribune readers in 2025<\/a><\/blockquote><iframe class=\"wp-embedded-content\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts\" security=\"restricted\" style=\"position: absolute; visibility: hidden;\" title=\"&#8220;Princely Family of Monaco and Chanel fashion: the five articles that fascinated Monaco Tribune readers in 2025&#8221; &#8212; Monaco Tribune\" src=\"https:\/\/www.monaco-tribune.com\/en\/2026\/01\/princely-family-of-monaco-and-chanel-fashion-the-five-articles-that-fascinated-monaco-tribune-readers-in-2025\/embed\/#?secret=XXAk1MCP3K#?secret=ysPghmoMsx\" data-secret=\"ysPghmoMsx\" width=\"500\" height=\"282\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A recurring theme emerged from these contributions: drawing as a space of freedom. Freedom to create without constraints, to progress at one&#8217;s own pace, to dare to show one&#8217;s work. This echoes the words of Aur\u00e9lie Guarino, who reminded us in our article how essential regular practice and the pleasure of drawing are, regardless of skill level.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some participants have been drawing since childhood, while others have recently taken up the pencil again, sometimes after several years&#8217; break. They all share the same desire: to express themselves through images.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-merci-a-nos-lecteurs-artistes\">Thank you to our reader-artists<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We would like to warmly thank all the readers who took part in this competition and agreed to share their creations with Monaco Tribune and the two partners of this competition.
