The yacht was designed by Hynova Boat, a French company which promotes sustainable sailing. <\/strong><\/p><\/p>\n\n<p><p>On 18 September, The <i>New Era<\/i>, Hynova Yacht\u2019s prototype boat, sailed out of la Ciotat Dockyard, near Marseille. It was an emotional day for Chlo\u00e9 Zaied, founder of the company. \u201cEverything is coming into place, and our hard work will finally be rewarded\u201d, she said on social media. Last July, the dayboat prototype was given a \u201cCoup de C\u0153ur\u201d award at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.monaco-tribune.com\/en\/2020\/07\/monaco-solar-energy-boat-challenge-winners-announced\/\">Monaco Solar &amp; Energy Boat Challenge.<\/a><\/p><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sustainable innovation in yacht-making  <\/h2>\n\n<p><p>About 40 ft long, the yacht can welcome up to 12 people and includes an electric engine powered by a fuel cell which uses<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hynova-yachts.fr\/en\/hydrogen-fuel\/\"> hydrogen<\/a>, a world first. Fully silent, the boat only ejects water and does not emit CO2 in sea water. \u201cIt is the most sustainable, durable and safest technology when powering and electric engine,\u201d explains the start-up.<\/p><\/p>\n\n<p><p>Bringing luxury and sustainability together, the boat was meticulously designed in collaboration with the Marseille-based company le Lab Syroco. Hynova Yacht has announced that its next models will be made of more sustainable material.
