In order to help those less fortunate, donations were made online to light up a virtual Christmas tree during the festive period.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>&gt;&gt; READ ALSO:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.monaco-tribune.com\/en\/2020\/08\/covid-19-crisis-monaco-red-cross-is-active-on-all-fronts\/\">Covid-19 crisis: Monaco Red Cross is active on all fronts<\/a><\/p>\n\n<p>As part of the initiative, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.croix-rouge.mc\/en\/\">Monaco Red Cross<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fightaidsmonaco.com\/\">Fight Aids<\/a> both partnered with Monaco&#8217;s Town Hall. Thanks to their work, 49 lights lit up the virtual Christmas tree. Donations came mainly from Monaco, but some were registered from France and Italy too. In fact, one donation came from as far away as New York.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-fight-aids-une-association-engag-e-sur-tous-les-fronts\">Fight Aids commits to new causes<\/h2>\n\n<p>Despite the health crisis, there has been no let-up in the fight against AIDS. On 1 December, Princess St\u00e9phanie delighted in having volunteers who were still very much <a href=\"https:\/\/www.monaco-tribune.com\/en\/2020\/12\/aids-covid-19-doubles-the-threat-says-princess-stephanie\/\">working in the field.<\/a> The very same day she also presented the latest advances in treatments for the disease.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>&gt;&gt; READ ALSO:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.monaco-tribune.com\/en\/2020\/12\/aids-covid-19-doubles-the-threat-says-princess-stephanie\/\">AIDS: \u201cCovid-19 doubles the threat,\u201d says Princess St\u00e9phanie<\/a><\/p>\n\n<p>Besides dedicating itself to defeating AIDS, this not-for-profit organisation also works on the issue of violence against women.
