The new technology would mark a definite switch in the yachting industry, which in recent years has tried to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.monaco-tribune.com\/en\/2021\/03\/how-the-yachting-industry-is-setting-sail-for-a-greener-future\/\">shift to more sustainable energy sources<\/a> in order to reduce the amount of CO2 let out by boats. <\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">Currently, only two commercialised boats run on hydrogen. &#8220;Aqua&#8221;, the worlds\u2019 first superyacht to be fully hydrogen-run, was built by Sinot Yacht Architecture and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.architecturaldigest.com\/story\/worlds-first-hydrogen-powered-superyacht-644-million\">put on the market in early 2020 for $644 million<\/a>. <\/span>&#13;\n&#13;\n<\/p>\n\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">More modest than &#8220;Aqua&#8221;, \u201cNew Era\u201d is the brain-child of Hynova Yachts. The second hydrogen-run yacht is a familiar face in Monaco. After being unveiled at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.monaco-tribune.com\/en\/2020\/09\/worlds-first-hydrogen-powered-yacht-unveiled-in-monaco\/\">2019 edition of the Monaco Energy Boat Challenge<\/a>, the yacht became the world\u2019s first certified recreational boat to be hydrogen-run. <\/span><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-l-hydrog-ne-l-nergie-bient-t-disponible-monaco\">Will Monaco soon be equipped with hydrogen stations?<\/h2>\n\n<p>The Monaco Energy Boat Challenge was the stage of a particularly interesting round table between members of the Monegasque government, international actors and hydrogen specialists. He stressed the importance of Monaco and the yachting industry understanding the significance of hydrogen and the urgency of implementing it in the Principality. &#13;\nThe shift to hydrogen-based
