The cocktail must-have: L\u2019Orangerie<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Have you ever heard of the citrus aurantium, commonly known as the bitter orange tree? Halfway between a grapefruit and a mandarin, the fruit of the citrus aurantium is a zesty addition to your late-afternoon cocktails. A plant native to Monaco, over 600 bitter orange trees can be spotted throughout the Principality. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A few years ago, the Monegasque entrepreneur Philip Culazzo began to make a liquor out of the bitter orange zests. Then in 2017, the drink hit Monaco\u2019s stalls. You can find l\u2019Orangerie in Monaco\u2019s most exclusive bars, from the hotels of Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 des Bains de Mer and the Hotel M\u00e9tropole, to the Yacht Club and the Automobile Club. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
