Hotel occupancy especially showed a record peak of frequentation on the weekend of 6-8 August with 96% occupancy.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-la-c-te-attire-des-heureux\">The Riviera attracts the happy<\/h2>\n\n<p>It is also noted that air travellers are on the rise: in July, they were +19% compared to the year 2020.<\/p>\n\n<p>Tourism is also evident <a href=\"https:\/\/www.monaco-tribune.com\/en\/2021\/08\/tourism-in-full-swing-in-the-region\/\">in Monaco<\/a>. The Principality&#8217;s hotels recorded 70% occupancy for the month of July, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.monaco-tribune.com\/en\/2020\/08\/guy-antognelli-monaco-tourism-tourists-are-coming-back-clouds-of-uncertainty-over-business-travellers\/\">compared to 39% last year<\/a>.
