And here she comes once again, the intrepid Penelope, into the whirlwind of an investigation full of lies, murders and Monet. While the famous conservative detective is attending a dinner at the Marmottan-Monet Museum, two connoisseurs of the great Impressionist painter’s work disappear.

The next day, one is found dead while the other, a nun named Sister Marie-Jo, is spotted in Monaco by Penelope’s companion Wandrille – Monaco, where an unpublished painting by Monet is to be purchased to celebrate the wedding of Prince Albert and Charlene.

Who is the mysterious sister Marie-Jo? Why the Principality? And who killed Carolyne Square? Penelope and Wandrille run from Charybdis to Scylla and from Giverny to Monaco to try to solve the mystery. Monet’s friendship with Georges Clemenceau suddenly makes sense. What was laidback Mr. Monet’s strange life like?
