Le Petit Futé

A glamorous, well-known destination, travellers come from all over the world to soak up the Monégasque splendour and dream in front of the luxurious villas and legendary palaces in Monte-Carlo. People also flock here to experience international events such as the Monaco F1 Grand Prix, the Monte Carlo Rally or the International Circus Festival. For years, Monaco has been able to organise events on a huge scale, which is testiment to the determination and vigour of people living here. A small piece of land wedged between sea and mountains, the Principality has always welcomed the greats of this world. At the beginning of 20th century, Monaco was home to Diaghilev’s Ballets Russes. Now, the Rock can be enjoyed by all. There is something for everyone, with its aquarium, zoological gardens, museums and, of course, the Prince’s Palace, which can be seen from all over the city. A trip to Monaco is also an opportunity to discover the delights of Mediterranean cuisine, such as delicious barbarjuans, those famous little local fritters made from chard and rice. Once full, there’s nothing like a stroll along the beaches of Larvoto or Fontvielle, Petit Futé in hand, of course…
