In the covered market in La Condamine, the MC by Kodera has been offering Japanese dishes and sushi since 2015. Two years later, the establishment had the honour of becoming the first Japanese restaurant recognised as a Patented Supplier to the Prince of Monaco.
MC by Kodera aim to bring Japan to Monaco. At lunchtime, there are grilled and sushi deals, as well as à la carte dishes. In addition, the restaurant guarantees fresh fish, prepared by the chef himself each morning. The dishes are prepared using traditional techniques. As for sushi rice, it is prepared using a donabe, an earthenware pot used in some traditional restaurants in Japan. MC by Kodera also offers the Omakase. This Japanese expression literally means “I leave it up to you.” So, by calling at least three days in advance, you can ask the chef, according to your tastes, to prepare an assortment of dishes that suits you.
