Prince Albert II

In June 2006, Prince Albert II of Monaco created his Foundation in order to respond to the worrying threats facing our planet. As such the foundatin strives for the protection of the environment and the promotion of sustainable development on a global scale. It focuses its efforts on priority areas for action such as climate change and biodiversity. But also on the management of marine resources in major geographical regions such as the Mediterranean basin, the polar regions and the least developed countries.

The involvement of Prince Albert II of Monaco and the unfailing financial support of environmentalists, NGOs, companies and individuals have enabled the Foundation to carry out more than 540 projects since 2006. A Foundation with ten international branches: in France, the United States, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Canada, Germany, Italy, Singapore, Spain and China.
