The German-Finnish driver competed for the Williams team (2006-2009) before joining the Mercedes Petronas team (2010-2016). He has won the Monaco Grand Prix three times.
He holds 15 Grand Prix victories. In December 2016, at the peak of his career after winning the world championship, Rosberg announced that he was ending his racing career. He has lived in Monaco all his life.
