The Principality continues to dematerialise its administrative services with the launch of a fully digital platform for entrepreneurs.

Since Thursday 25 September, residents who wish to set up a business in their own name have been able to complete all their formalities via MonGuichet.mc, without having to physically go to the relevant department. The new online service means users can submit their business start-up application directly from their computer or smartphone.

Once the application has been submitted, they can check its progress in real time, putting an end to the uncertainty around traditional processing times. The tool is accessible at all times, offering flexibility to working people who can now complete their application outside of the normal working day.

Interministerial cooperation

The project, developed jointly by the Economic Development Directorate (DDE) and the Interministerial Delegation for Digital Transition (DITN), illustrates the government’s intention to rethink the user experience when it comes to interactions between the administration and citizens.

According to a press release issued by the authorities, the initiative also aims to “support the Principality’s economic attractiveness” by making it easier for new businesses to set up in Monaco.

Practical information

Future entrepreneurs can access the service via the website. For any further questions, the Monaco Business Office is available on +377 98 98 98 98.
