Buddha-Bar Monte-Carlo

More than a restaurant, the Buddha Bar Monte Carlo provides an experience combining East with West. The warm colours, Buddha statues and lounge atmosphere have made this restaurant the perfect place to relax and have fun. Gastronomically speaking, Thai and Japanese dishes are featured on a menu that blends together all of Asia’s culinary delights. As well as sashimi, maki, sushi and other Asian treasures from China, Japan, Thailand and Southeast Asia. All of these dishes can be enjoyed with a sake or a “signature” cocktail. As you can tell, at the Buddha Bar Monte-Carlo, chef Éric Guillemaud and his team combine Asian delicacies with French excellence.

The décor is breathtaking… A 7-metre-high ceiling, different types of wood, sculptures, cornices, stucco and gilding Not only this, but there is an impressive host: a colossal meditating Buddha from Asia. In addition, there are two open-air terraces. Perfect for enjoying the mild summer evenings! The bar stands where the old Monte-Carlo Cabaret used to be at the beginning of the last century, so the party atmosphere has been maintained… especially during a set from Papadia Donato, aka DJ Papa. Behind his decks, the resident DJ overlooks the Lounge Bar, sharing his minimalist musical treats, a blend of lounge, chill-out and world music. Topped off with ethnic or electro beats.
