2023 Monaco Formula 1 Grand Prix schedule

The 80th edition of the Monaco Formula 1 Grand Prix will be held from 25 to 28 May on the Principality’s circuit.

And the legendary Monegasque race promises a packed schedule over four days again this year.

From Thursday 25 May, the first laps of the Formula 2, Formula 3 and Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup will take place on the Monegasque circuit, before the Formula 1 pilots have their first two free practice sessions on Friday 26 May.

Like every year, qualifications for the F1 Monaco Grand Prix will be held on Saturday. The race start will be on Sunday 28 May at 3pm.

Thursday 25 May

7am : Circuit closes to traffic

1:30 – 2:15pm : Formula 3 (practice session + start practice)

3 – 3:45pm : Formula 2 (practice session + start practice)

4:30 – 5:15pm : Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup (practice session)

7:30pm : Circuit opens to traffic

Friday 26 May

7:30 am : Circuit closes to traffic

11:10 – 11:26am : Formula 3 (qualifying)

11:34 – 11:50am : Formula 3 (qualifying)

1:30 – 2:30pm: Formula 1 (Free Practice 1)

3:10 – 3:26pm : Formula 2 (qualifying)

3:34 – 3:50pm : Formula 2 (qualifying)

5:00 – 6:00pm : Formula 1 (Free Practice 2)

6:45 – 7:15pm : Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup (qualifying)

9pm : Circuit opens to traffic

Saturday 27 May

7am : Circuit closes to traffic

11:00 – 11:45am : Formula 3 (sprint race)

12:30 – 1:30pm: Formula 1 (Free Practice 3)

2:15 – 3:05pm : Formula 2 (sprint race)

4:00 – 5:00pm : Formula 1 (qualifying)

7:30pm : Circuit opens to traffic

Sunday 28 May

5am : Circuit closes to traffic

8:00 – 8:50am : Formula 3 (race)

9:40 – 10:45am : Formula 2 (race)

11:55am – 12:30pm : Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup (race)

12:50 – 1:20pm: Formula 1 (drivers’ parade)

1:40 – 1:50pm : Lap of honour by Prince Albert II and the Princess of Monaco

2:10 – 2:20pm : Formula 1 (starting grid)

2:46pm : National Anthem

3 pm : Formula 1 (80th Monaco F1 Grand Prix)

9pm : Circuit opens to traffic
