Cocoa will be doing its bit for charity from 25 September to 14 October!

Since 25 September, the Wannenes Art Contact galleries have been exhibiting eight works in chocolate, created by international artists as part of the second Chokolashow. Visitors are invited to discover the works, which are identified only by numbers from 1 to 8, and to vote for their favourite until 10 October. This anonymity guarantees a fair vote, based solely on the works’ visual appeal. The winner will be announced at the Chokolashow Village, which takes place on 13 and 14 October at Le Méridien Beach Plaza.

Eight non-profits will benefit

Free of charge, the event has a varied programme running from 10am to 6pm. On the menu: tastings of original chocolate specialities, activities for children and hands-on workshops. Among the highlights, the “Choco-therapy” workshop, led by artist Monica Di Rocco on Sunday afternoon, promises a unique introspective experience.

Organised by the Monaco International Hub Association, chaired by Maria Bologna, Chokolashow features eight established artists, working on a nautical theme. Patrick Bibal, Toni Belfatto, Luca Bestetti, Monica Di Rocco, Ilham El Jadaoui, Patrizia A. Salles, Manou and Fabienne Henry were given ten days in which to make sculptures out of chocolate slabs.

Chokolashow 2025: raising money for charities via chocolate art

There will be a charity auction on the evening of 14 October, with all proceeds going to eight local organisations, including Action Innocence, Fight Aids Monaco and the Monaco SPA animal shelter. A draw will determine the distribution of the funds raised.
