The third edition of the Monaco International Motor Show will open its doors on February 28th and run through March 3, 2019. Here’s a snapshot of what to expect from the eagerly anticipated auto expo.

Discover the future of mobility at the 3rd edition of SIAM, the Monaco International Motor Show, running from Thursday, February 28th to Sunday, March 3rd on Quai Albert Ier. This year’s SIAM will emphasize what the future holds for cars with exhibits for electric cars, hypercars, sports cars, and concept cars. Some of the biggest names in the automotive industry will be present, including Lamborghini, Tesla, and Ferrari. The theme of motorsports will also be featured during the show, with a new area dedicated to racing teams with special exhibits by team sponsors. Initiated in 2018 with the presence of Venturi, SMP Racing, BR Engineering, and Tecno Monte-Carlo, some top-flight drivers will also be on site to honor the motorsports theme.

A breakdown of the pavilions

Pavilion one is comprised of companies and projects related to innovative technologies and new energy sources. Here, you can find automobiles that employ hydrogen as well as electric energy, hybrid vehicles, and even vehicles with autonomous driving tech.

Pavilion 2 is pavilion one’s more conceptual brother. After the pragmatic applications of innovative automotive tech on display in the first pavilion, the second exhibition area will play host to car manufacturers’ concept vehicles and super/hypercars among other innovative models.

The third pavilion is dedicated to sports and racing cars, racing teams, their sponsors, drivers, driving federations, and what to expect from next year’s circuits. This segment of the 2019 SIAM is envisioned as a real hub of networking for players in the motorsports industry. Visit the paddocks and rub shoulders with some of today’s most influential actors in the field.

Last, but certainly not least, pavilion four will take a perspective on innovation throughout time. As the future of automotive progress was built on the past, exhibitors will give access to some timeless classics of sports car innovation.
