The Monaco Economic Board (MEB) yesterday organised its general assembly, in the presence of Serge Telle, Minister of State. On this occasion, 512 members of the MEB voted an amendment to the statutes of the association to create a post of Executive Director General.
Guillaume Rose, appointed to this post, will be responsible for making the MEB the entity that coordinates the public and parastatal structures of the Principality abroad.
Mr. Rose announced the three main objectives of his new mission:
- To maintain and highlight the MEB team
- To listen and to open the voices to the professionals of the place
- Finally, to develop the action of the MEB abroad
The roadmap, written by the Minister of State, who wished this evolution of the structure of the MEB, provides for the strengthening of the influence of Monaco abroad by coordinating the actions of the Principality by facilitating the operations of each.
Mr. Michel Dotta, President of the Monaco Economic Board since 2009, welcomed the new Executive Director as “a very high-level professional and expert from abroad”.
The SEM then celebrated its 20th anniversary in the presence of the Sovereign Prince and many personalities.
