Since its debut in 1985, The Yacht Club de Monaco’s Primo Cup has always been the first event to kick off the Mediterranean circuit. Each year, the YCM presents a full and dynamic calendar of sporting and social events in Monaco’s main port, supporting its mission of linking “those who love the sea and the interests of tourism and promoting the Principality”.

Taking part in the Primo Cup-Trophée Crédit Suisse are the usual Melges 20, J/70 and Smeralda 888 monotype series as well as the Longtze Premier, a 7-meter-long sailing yacht, born by the Le Défi team during the America’s Cup in 2007.

Schedule for final sailing day Sunday 9th February is as follows:

11.00: First warning signal for all classes
15.00: Cut-off time for last warning signal
Prize-giving will take place one hour after finish line closes

The Regatta newcomers: L30

This year, the L30m make its Monaco debut, having recently been chosen as the boat of choice for the first World Offshore Racing Championships taking place Malta in October 2020. This 30-foot sailing yacht designed by Andrej Justin was developed by former Olympic sailor and Volvo Ocean Race participant Rodion Luka.
