The Department of National Education, Youth and Sports wishes to intensify actions in favour of post-bac orientation. The goal is to support high school students in developing their orientation project. The National Education Information Center (CIEN) is a key partner; it supports information literacy education activities for pupils in schools.
Throughout the year, it welcomes young people and their families and accompanies them in the development of their training project.
As in the previous year, the CIEN will be open exceptionally on several Saturdays for “zoom on …” that will reinforce this dynamic.
These days will be held at the premises of the CIEN. They will allow high school students to have access to complete and accurate documentation and to meet students or invited experts to advise them and their families. These Saturdays will allow tackling of four themes:
Saturday, December 15, 2018 Morning: studies of law and political science. Afternoon: Science and computer studies.
Saturday, March 2, 2019 Day: Support for higher education (Parcours and files).
Saturday, March 30, 2019 Day: Funding for graduate studies and student housing.
Open from 10h to 16h30 there will be:
- Free access to documentation and computers
- Advice from the manager and documentalists according to the themes of the day
- Your individual needs
- Meeting with students or experts depending on the topics covered
