Inauguration of CHPG’s new laboratory and new Blood Transfusion Center

Didier Gamerdinger accompanied this Wednesday, January 30th, the Sovereign Prince, Councilor of Government-Minister of Social Affairs and Health, André Garino, President of the Board of Directors of the Princess Grace Hospital and its Director Benoîte de Sevelinges, to inaugurate within it, two new fully renovated services: the new sampling site of the laboratory and the new Blood Transfusion Center. These two medico-technical trays will soon have a direct, concrete and positive impact on how to welcome consultants.

The new sampling site of the biology laboratory, which hosts more than 100 patients per day, now extends over 200m2. An almost doubled surface, with more spacious boxes and an ergonomics facilitating the confidentiality and the comfort of the patients. Work that will have lasted about 6 months, for an opening in the coming weeks.

A second renovation, that of the new site of the Blood Transfusion Center, which reintegrates its historic premises at level -1 after many months of work, to offer a space dedicated to the donation of blood. Clear, bright and can accommodate the 1200 annual donors (for a little more than 1800 donations per year), the premises of 500m2 were thought functional for the teams.
