The Monte Carlo Fashion Week will take place from May 15th to 19th. The star-studded week will be an opportunity to discover Alberta Ferretti’s newest collection. The designer is this seventh edition’s guest of honor of this seventh edition. Logistics will be handled The Monegasque Chamber of Fashion with support from the Principality, the municipality and the Office of Tourism.

In between the tip of Fontvieille and the Oceanographic Museum (where the Alberta Ferretti parade will be held), the Principality will vibrate to the rhythm some creative minds from May 15th to the 19th. Created in 2013 with support from the Princess Charlene Foundation of Monaco, the event has since played host to many exclusive shows. The event also englobes the Monte-Carlo Fashion Awards, which are annual rewards for outstanding and emerging figures in the field.

While for the time being the majority of the shows have not yet been confirmed, we can already see that, as usual, conferences and exhibitions will complete the numerous collection presentations. The Monte Carlo Fashion Week coincides with the ten year anniversary of the Monegasque Chamber of Fashion’s creation. The organization includes some major players in local fashion, including Banana Moon, Beach & Cashmere Monaco, Diana d’Orville, Leslie Monaco and Stardust Monte Carlo. Since its creation, Frederica Nardoni Spinetta has acted as the Chamber’s president. Last year, the Monte-Carlo Fashion Week welcomed about forty brands from sixteen countries.
