The Principality of Monaco can now be visited in augmented reality thanks to the CardMap application

The Monaco Tourism and Convention Bureau and the K-Rma tech company have worked closely together to enable visitors to discover the Principality in an interactive and dynamic way thanks to the CardMap application.

Available on Android and iOS, the CardMap application developed by K-Rma tech can discover its destination in augmented reality. The Monaco Tourism and Convention Bureau and K-Rma tech have joined forces to enable the Principality to be present in the application. By scanning a flyer available in different strategic locations or Monaco map, visitors can learn more about the different tourist places: a 3D model of the place, an audio guide along with photos and videos are offered to make their visit more dynamic and interactive.

Today, the Princess Grace Rose Garden, the Landscape Park, the Japanese Garden, the Casino, the Cathedral, the Oceanographic Museum and the Prince’s Palace are already available in the app.

Other places will soon be added such as the Exotic Garden, the Observatory Grotto, as well as the Formula 1 Grand Prix circuit. In the coming weeks, you will also be able to learn more about La Relève de la Garde.

Created in 2017 in Monaco, K-Rma tech Sarl gathers professionals of new technologies and finance. At the origin of the creation of CardMap, the company also develops innovative solutions in the fields of Tourism, Music, Sport and Medical.
