Though not everyone in the Principality has an opportunity to participate directly in the Monaco Grand Prix, many will start their party engines and chase the night into the early morning throughout race weekend. The party will be in full swing at the Méridien Beach Plaza hotel, both at the Sunset venue – located on the hotel’s beachfront – and at Twiga Monte Carlo, the address launched by Flavio Briatore in 2014. Nightlife personality Cathy Guetta is expected to make an appearance!

This weekend, the Principality will be the center of the automotive world. The traditional Formula 1 Grand Prix will welcome nearly 37,000 spectators this Sunday with, hopefully, a great performance by Monegasque F1 pilot Charles Leclerc. But Monaco will also become the ephemeral epicenter of the world’s party scene. All the bars and clubs in the city have planned to raise their level and cater to the bevy of VIPs bouncing from venue to venue, and the Méridien Beach Plaza hotel is not planning to be outdone..

Le Méridien en fuego

In addition to the Amber Lounge, the “historic” site Monegasque nightlife that splashes around the establishment’s pool, two discotheques will bring the noise: the Sunset and the Twiga Monte Carlo. Tonight, Friday, May 24th, party organizers Thomas Peters and Cédric Houdrouge are setting up the Sunset on the beach. From noon to midnight, Caligagan will rotate pop-rock jams before leaving his place to Samantha Flores and Oldboy. On Saturday, the headliner will be Kerri Chandler while the excellent Alex From Tokyo will conclude this beautifully sunny weekend.

On the Twiga Monte Carlo side, we can not wait to find Cathy Guetta on the turntables on May 24th. Saturday, rapper Busta Rhymes will hold his birthday party there and on Sunday, the venue will host Billionaire Night with Jack-E. Sleepless nights no doubt!
