Didier Gamerdinger, Government Advisor-Minister of Social Affairs and Health, Frédéric Genta, Interministerial Delegate for Digital Transition, Thierry Poyet, Technical Advisor – Interministerial Delegation in charge of Digital Transition, Head of Innovation and Digital Economy and Véronique Campana, Head of Mission at the Department of Social Affairs and Health, presented to the press the e-health system that will be set up in the Principality.

“The Prince’s Government is investing in this area in the context of the digital transition and has adopted an action plan for the Principality to strengthen its position in providing care by combining patient comfort and health centre excellence” pointed out Didier Gamerdinger.

Positioning yourself at the forefront of tomorrow’s health is the main goal. It is essential that new means be put at the service of all health professionals and that the patient is placed at the heart of the reflection while securing all the data.

Among the first achievements, which will be effective in 2019, Frédéric Genta presented “[…] the launch of a health portal in which users and professionals will have access to health information and which will offer a directory of health professionals, as well as ‘an online platform for making appointments, all with the aim, in particular, of offering professionals reliable and innovative working tools and creating a patient journey without any friction’.

In his conclusion, the Councilor of Government insisted that “this is a strong commitment of the Government of Monaco and a challenge he intends to meet”.
